Panyu opens longest greenway in Guangzhou

Bike rental service is provided for residents in coordination with the greenway construction.

Panyu District plans to build a greenway of 230 kilometres this year, topping the other districts in Guangzhou. To date, 90 percent of this greenway has been constructed. The greenway has already been built on the main roads to the Asian Games Town, including Panyu Lu, Hanxi Lu, Higher Education Mega Centre, Qinghedong Lu. If you start from downtown Guangzhou via Panyu Lu, you can go straight into the Asian Games Town by bike along Qinghedong Lu.

Likewise, 18 greenway service posthouses have now been opened, including Shawan Town, Baomo Garden, Changlonghanxi, Dafu Mountain Forest Park, Qixinggang Park in Nancun Town etc. Of these 18 posthouses, six have already initiated public bike rental services. These are those located at Panyu Square, Shawan Town, Baomo Garden, Changlonghanxi, Dafu Mountain Forest Park, and Qixinggang Park in Nancun Town.
